Hong Kong-based AirRobo has introduced a new vacuum robot in the T-series, named the T20+. This latest model comes with notable improvements compared to its older version, the T10+, which debuted three years ago. The T20+ boasts a suction power of up to 2,600 Pa and has the ability to mop and vacuum at the same time. Additionally, it features a distinct sweep-cleaning function, allowing users to select from three mopping water levels and four different suction power options.

Enhanced Navigation and Technology

Similar to other models in AirRobo's lineup, the T20+ utilizes LiDAR navigation to accurately map your living space. The device is equipped with the company’s proprietary USLAM Air 5.0 system, which helps it detect and navigate around obstacles while cleaning. One of its standout features is the self-emptying docking station, allowing for up to 60 days of hands-free operation. This is a clear upgrade from the T10+, which provided 45 days of automated cleaning.

Battery and App Features

However, there’s a downside with the T20+ regarding its battery life, which has been reduced in comparison to the T10+. It now has a 3,200 mAh battery, down from the 5,000 mAh of its predecessor. AirRobo states that the vacuum can clean spaces of up to 2,200 ft² (204 m²) before needing a recharge. Additionally, the cleaning robot is compatible with the AirRobo companion app, which offers various features such as scheduling cleanings, designating no-go areas, monitoring progress in real-time, and zone cleaning. You can also operate the device using voice commands with assistants like Amazon Alexa.

Pricing and Availability

Right now, you can purchase the AirRobo T20+ robot vacuum in the US through Amazon for a promotional price of $199; the price will rise to $499.99 once the Black Friday promotions end. The vacuum is available only in a single black color option, and unfortunately, there are no other standard variants at this time.
