Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI: 250Hz Display & Powerful Specs

Acer has introduced a new laptop in its Predator Helios Neo series, called the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI. This comes after the announcement of the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI laptop at CES 2025. The Predator Helios Neo line is designed to provide top-notch performance, catering to gamers and high-end users alike. The latest addition, the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI, boasts some remarkable specifications.

Powerful Performance

At the core of the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI is either an Intel Core Ultra 9 275 HX or an Intel Core Ultra 7 255 HX processor, both of which are newly launched. It features the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, which is equipped with the newest Nvidia DLSS 4, ensuring enhanced frame rates, reduced lag, and better visual quality during gaming sessions. You can also expect up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and a generous 2 TB of PCIe Gen 2 SSD storage.

Stunning Display

The laptop showcases a massive 18-inch Mini LED WQXGA screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, achieving a peak brightness of 500 nits, a rapid response time of just 3 ms, and a high refresh rate of 250 Hz. Keep in mind that the display specifications may differ based on the specific model you pick. Additionally, the gaming laptop is designed with 100% sRGB support, making it a great option for content creators.

Design and Connectivity

In terms of size, the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI measures 400.9 x 307.9 x 14.9 mm (15.7 x 12.1 x 0.58 inches) and has a weight of 3.3 kg (7.27 lbs). Acer has included a comprehensive range of ports, such as 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, Thunderbolt 4, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, HDMI, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop also supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3.

Other features of the device include a Full HD (1080p) IR webcam, dual speakers with DTS X Ultra support, and advanced AI features like Acer Purified Voice 2.0 and Acer Purified View 2.0.

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI is available in a sleek black design, with a starting price of $2,199/€1,799. It is set to launch in North America in May and in Europe in June 2025.
