Xiaomi has introduced the HyperOS developer version 1.0.24.7.28.DEV, which is considered the final developer version. A company representative disclosed that it would be available before the end of today. As per the changelog, this developer version enhances system fluidity and boosts stability.

The update will be available for the following devices:

- Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13
- Redmi K60 Pro, Redmi K60
- Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2
- Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Pro, Xiaomi 12S
- Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition
- Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50
- Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4
Future Plans and Beta Testing
After rolling out this final developer version, the company will begin working on the beta version for internal testers. If users encounter the issue of “update package verification failed” while switching from the developer version to the stable version, they are advised to stop updating the developer version and only switch after the stable version’s security patch surpasses that of the developer version.
Stable Version Release
The stable version is expected to be pushed out before the end of September this year. However, the exact rollout date will vary for different models.
Xiaomi is also working on the next significant HyperOS version, HyperOS 2.0, anticipated to launch alongside the Xiaomi 15 series. For those unaware, the Xiaomi 15 series is likely to debut in Q4 this year.
