Xiaomi has introduced two new power banks to its growing range of accessories aimed at the global audience. Each power bank has a solid capacity of 10,000 mAh, with the pricier model offering a peak output of 165 watts and featuring a digital screen. The less expensive option, however, has a simpler 33-watt output.
Affordable Option
The more budget-friendly choice, known as the Xiaomi 33W Power Bank, measures 3.19 inches by 2.59 inches (80.9 mm by 65.9 mm) and weighs only 0.46 pounds (210 grams). It prioritizes portability, and it does a great job of being easy to carry. This model includes an integrated USB-C cable along with two additional ports: one USB-A and another USB-C. As stated earlier, it can deliver a maximum of 33 watts at once, which is sufficient for quick charging while on the move.
High-Powered Variant
On to the more powerful option, the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank also features a 10,000 mAh capacity but offers much faster charging capabilities for devices such as laptops. For example, a 14-inch MacBook Pro can be charged 0.45 times, reaching 23% in only 30 minutes. This power bank can provide up to 120 watts through its built-in USB-C cable and an added 45 watts from its single USB-C port. Moreover, it supports self-charging at a rate of 90 watts, allowing for a 75% recharge in just 15 minutes. It also has a digital display that shows the current battery level.
Safety Features
Both power banks are equipped with various safety features like current and voltage protection, overcharging safeguards, and temperature monitoring. Currently, the pricing and availability for these power banks are not disclosed, but more details are expected to come soon.
