X35H: Affordable Gaming Handheld with 4:3 Display Released

Powkiddy has quietly launched a new gaming handheld, just a few months after revealing the RGB20 Pro. Interestingly, the company has hinted at the release of “various consoles in 2025,” with the X35H being the first of these. The latest offering from Powkiddy seems to have connections to earlier models, though.

Specifications and Features

The X35H is powered by the Rockchip RK3566 processor and comes with 1 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, a common choice for retro gaming handhelds. Additionally, it sports a 3.5-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Like many similar devices, the X35H is equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery and features two MicroSD card slots.

Size and Pricing

Measuring 150 x 77 x 24 mm and weighing 181 g, the X35H serves as a more compact version of Powkiddy’s existing X55 model (currently priced at $109.96 on Amazon). The launch price for the device is set at $59.99, which includes a 16 GB MicroSD card, but no games are pre-loaded. Alternatively, buyers can opt for the X35H with 64 GB and 128 GB MicroSD cards, available for $64.99 and $74.99, respectively, and it comes in four different color choices.
