The VA2479-2K-HD boasts a 2K resolution (2560×1440) with a 75Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth and detailed visuals ideal for both professional tasks and entertainment. The monitor employs an IPS panel, which offers a broad 178° viewing angle and consistent image quality from various perspectives.

Supporting HDR10, the monitor enhances image depth, ensuring well-balanced dark and bright areas. It covers a 100% sRGB color gamut and features an 8-bit color depth, displaying 16.7 million rich and accurate colors.

Eye Protection and Design:

Incorporating ViewSonic’s Eye ProTech+ technology, the VA2479-2K-HD combines hardware and software solutions to protect users’ eyes. Users can also adjust blue light reduction settings via the monitor’s software.

The monitor’s design includes a sleek, ultra-thin metal base, conserving desktop space, and a three-sided narrow bezel, making it suitable for multi-monitor setups. It also supports a standard 75mm×75mm VESA mount for wall installations; however, the bracket must be purchased separately.

Connectivity and Performance:

The VA2479-2K-HD features two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DP 1.2 port, and an audio interface, facilitating connections with PCs, gaming consoles, and audio equipment. Additionally, it includes Adaptive Sync technology, which synchronizes with the graphics card to eliminate stuttering, tearing, and delays, ensuring a smooth visual experience.

The monitor also provides various display modes accessible via the OSD menu, including standard, game, movie, web browsing, text, medical grayscale, and MAC modes, catering to different user preferences and needs.
