The TCL X11K QD-Mini LED TV has recently appeared on the brand’s European site. This model was mentioned briefly during CES 2025 and is designed as an upgrade to the X11H, which debuted in China in 2024. It boasts a 4K resolution and a 144Hz VRR refresh rate, and will be available in two sizes: 85-inch and 98-inch.
Impressive Features
Similar to the X11H, the X11K includes up to 14,122 dimming zones and achieves a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. However, the panel is where the main differences lie, as the X11K is outfitted with a CrystGlow HVA panel that offers a native contrast ratio of 7,000:1. Additionally, there’s a nanoscale film that reportedly reduces reflections.
Advanced Technology
The X11K also incorporates TCL’s new Halo Control Technology, which the company claims addresses the halo effect. This technology merges several components, including a new light-emitting chip that is said to boost both brightness and energy efficiency, a highly condensed micro lens for precise light direction, and a super micro-OD that helps keep the design slim.
Gaming and Audio Experience
This latest TCL TV covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and supports various formats like Dolby Vision IQ, HLG, and HDR 10+. The AiPQ Pro Processor enhances features like 4K upscaling and MEMC, while the Google TV interface gives access to a wide range of streaming apps and allows for voice control through Google Assistant. You can also cast content to the TV using AirPlay and Miracast, with support for Multi View 2.0 quad-casting.
For gamers, the TV comes equipped with Game Master Pro 3.0, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, and four HDMI 2.1 ports (with at least one supporting eARC). Furthermore, it features a built-in Bang & Olufsen speaker system, and the Beosonic feature lets you tailor the audio to fit your preferences or mood. TCL has not yet revealed the release date or pricing for the 85-inch and 98-inch versions of the X11K TV in Europe. The model is also anticipated to launch in the US later this year.
