TARRAN T1 Pro e-bike with 485lb payload and smart landing gear

TARRAN has introduced the T1 Pro cargo e-bike, designed with an innovative feature that prevents it from tipping over. The company states that the T1 Pro addresses a significant drawback of cargo e-bikes by incorporating smart gear technology. This new model is one of the standout products at the Eurobike 2024 conference in Frankfurt, Germany.

Unique Foldable Design

The TARRAN T1 Pro is a remarkable foldable cargo e-bike featuring a front-loading design instead of the typical longtail form factor. It employs an intelligent spacing mechanism to maintain balance. Measuring approximately 2.26 meters in length due to its front-loading architecture, the T1 Pro can safely carry two children who are 1.26 meters tall or shorter in its compartment without any risk of tipping over. The e-bike boasts a payload capacity of 485 pounds, with stability ensured by its smart gear system.

Advanced Features

The bike is outfitted with state-of-the-art Dynamic Dual-drive landing gears that automatically deploy in hazardous situations. These gears are motorized for effective operation. The model also includes a 5.2-inch retina touchscreen powered by TarranOS, supporting wireless charging, contactless locking, and anti-theft features.

The e-bike comes with two 708Wh batteries that collectively offer a range of up to 200km on a single charge. The maximum speed of the cargo e-bike when carrying its full payload has not yet been disclosed. Details regarding the full release and pricing for the TARRAN T1 Pro electric cargo bike are still pending.
