Vivo Fold Challenger to Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Spotted in Stunning Color

    Key Takeaway

    – Vivo X Fold 6 teased in real-life images, showing a green colorway and a camera island similar to the X Fold 5.
    – Expected to feature a 6.51-inch outer display, 8.02-inch inner display, and a 7,000 mAh battery.
    – Likely powered by the Dimensity 9500 SoC with a triple camera setup including a 200 MP main sensor.

Vivo’s Next Foldable Flagship Appears in Leaked Images

Vivo is working on its next flagship foldable, the Vivo X Fold 6, and by the looks of it, the phone is right around the corner. A few days ago, some real-life images of the phone in the hands of a media personality surfaced online. The images show a green colorway and a camera island design similar to the Vivo X Fold 5.

Actress Zhu Zhu Spotted With the Phone at French Open

The images were shared by Sina Entertainment on Weibo, and they show a Chinese actress and singer named Zhu Zhu taking pictures at the French Open women’s singles final game. The way these images are framed, they look like PR material meant to tease the phone ahead of its expected June launch. Honestly, its kind of a clever move using a celebrity to generate buzz without offical announcement.

    Design Similarities and Missing Details

The actress can be seen holding the phone perfectly positioned for a press photo. The green colorway stands out, but the overall design seems much like the Vivo X Fold 5. Only the unfolded back of the phone can be seen, that too from afar, so not a lot of detail is available. Much about the Vivo X Fold 6 has leaked, however, and the phone is said to come with a 6.51-inch outer display and an 8.02-inch inner display. A 7,000 mAh battery is said to be powering the device that features the Dimensity 9500 SoC.

    Expected Camera and Launch Timeline

A triple camera setup comprising a 200 MP primary ‘large sensor’, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto shooter is expected. The Vivo X Fold 6 is likely to be announced late this month in China, but a global release is uncertain at this point. Like the Vivo X Fold 5, the successor should also be available officially in global markets at some point.

iPhone 18 Pro Design Mockups Hands-On: New Colors in All Lighting

    Key Takeaway

    – Black, Silver, Light Blue, and Dark Cherry colors revealed
    – Dark Cherry is expected to be the new hero color
    – Same brushed aluminum-glass design as iPhone 17 Pro (not titanium)
    – Videos show plastic models for case manufacturers, not final units
    – iPhone 18 Pro expected to launch alongside first foldable iPhone in September

First Look at iPhone 18 Pro Design Models in Hands-On Videos

Following our initial report on the leaked images of iPhone 18 Pro design models, we now have our first look at some hands-on videos of Apple’s upcoming flagships, or at least a plastic representation of them. These clips give us a better sense of the physical dimensions and how the device might feel, even if its just a dummy unit.

Clearer View of the Upcoming Color Options

New hands-on videos have surfaced, showing the successors to the iPhone 17 Pro in a slightly better light, literally. As previously detailed, the overall back design is expected to remain consistent with last year’s model. However, these new videos provide a clearer, perhaps more practical idea of the upcoming color lineup. The lighting in these clips reveals the texture better than any leaked render could.

Color Lineup and the New Hero Shade

The hands-on footage shared on Weibo offers a view of the Black, Silver, Light Blue, and Dark Cherry models. Meanwhile, the video you see attached below shows the Light Blue and Dark Cherry options. The latter (which is said to be the lineup’s new hero color) stands out, appearing as a deep, wine-inspired red shade. This color definitly looks more sophisticated then the standard reds we’ve seen in the past.

Of course, the actual iPhone 18 Pro units will reflect the light differently, as they are expected to use the same brushed aluminum-glass combo as the iPhone 17 Pro as far as materials are concerned (that’s despite rumors of a return to titanium). The final product will have a much more metallic sheen then these plastic models.

Practical Purpose and What to Expect

Once again, it’s important to remember that these design models are primarily produced for case manufacturers to test accessory fits. While they are not a perfect representation of Apple’s final manufacturing process, these hands-on videos provide a much more accurate expectation of what the iPhone 18 Pro will look like compared to static renders. The button placements and camera bump size are very likely to be final.

The Hype Train is Moving Fast

As you can already tell, the iPhone 18 Pro hype train is already going full speed ahead of the expected announcement in September, when Apple’s slabs should be joined by the first foldable iPhone (Ultra). Its an exciting time for Apple fans, even if we’re still months away from a official launch.
