Cubot Tab 70: Android Tablet with Dual-SIM and GNSS Features

Cubot has been quite active lately, expanding its lineup of smartphones and tablets, some of which we’ve already reviewed. Now, the company is set to launch a new tablet: The Tab 70 is not designed as a premium device, as it runs on Android 14 and is equipped with a simple Unisoc T616 SoC featuring two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. This processor is paired with 6 GB of RAM, which can be augmented using the 128 GB internal storage or a memory card. Users will need to decide between a dual-SIM configuration or extra storage since there isn’t a third slot for cards. Even though it lacks 5G support, the tablet does work with various LTE bands.

    Display and Build

The Tab 70 sports a 10.95-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. It has a slim profile, measuring just 8.1 mm (0.3 in) thick and weighing 555 g (19.6 oz). The tablet is powered by a substantial 8,200 mAh battery and includes a built-in GNSS module that supports GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou, making it suitable for navigation. For photography, there’s an 8 MP camera on the front and a 16 MP main camera along with a 2 MP macro lens on the rear.

    Pricing and Availability

Cubot hasn’t shared specific details regarding the price or when the tablet will be available, but it’s expected to be reasonably priced. For more information, you can check out the official product page.
