The 10 MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom is cut out, meaning less zoom capability. On top of that, the main camera now features a 50 MP sensor. It’s currently unknown if this new sensor is smaller than the previous 200 MP 1/1.3-inch sensor, but the lower resolution means digital zoom might not be as effective, a setback for those who love zooming in to capture details. The camera lens aperture drops from f/1.7 to f/1.8, which may slightly affect low-light performance.
