    Xiaomi HyperOS 2 Update: Supported Devices and Release Timeline

    HyperOS 2 is a significant improvement, introducing a variety of robust new features and upgrades for an enhanced software experience. It includes three main innovations: HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI, as well as numerous AI and non-AI functionalities. These features include an AI-driven lock screen, a revamped desktop layout, a 3D real-time weather system, dynamic effects across displays, and much more.

    Exciting Features Await

    The new HyperOS software has a lot to provide, making Xiaomi users excited about trying it out. Nevertheless, not all Xiaomi devices will be able to enjoy these updates. The rollout of HyperOS 2 will be limited to specific Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices, which we have listed below alongside the anticipated release schedule.

    Eligible Xiaomi Devices for HyperOS 2

    HyperOS 2 debuted with the Xiaomi 15 series last month in China, and it has not yet been released worldwide. Therefore, the official list of eligible devices for other regions is still pending. However, based on Xiaomi’s previous patterns and current software policies, we’ve created a list of Xiaomi devices that could potentially receive the HyperOS 2.0 update:

    Rollout Plans for HyperOS 2

    Xiaomi has not yet made the global rollout plan for HyperOS 2 official. Nevertheless, according to leaked information from XiaomiTime, devices like Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 13T Pro are expected to receive the HyperOS 2 upgrade by the end of 2024.

    Redmi Note 13 & 13C Receive HyperOS Update

    Recently, Xiaomi, the Chinese brand, has initiated the rollout of the HyperOS update for the Xiaomi Pad 5. This significant interface update aims to enhance system optimization and has been eagerly adopted by millions of users. While numerous devices have already been updated to HyperOS, there are still some awaiting this upgrade. Xiaomi is now commencing the deployment of the HyperOS update for models like the Redmi Note 13, Redmi 13C, and more.

    Models Receiving HyperOS Update

    Several models, including the Redmi Note 13, Redmi 13C/POCO C65, and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G/POCO X4 Pro 5G, are currently in the process of receiving the HyperOS update. Initially launched with Android 13-based MIUI 14, the Redmi Note 13 series was expected to come with HyperOS from the start but instead featured MIUI 14. Xiaomi is gradually rolling out HyperOS to the Redmi Note 13 series, with the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi 13C/POCO C65 being the latest recipients of this update.

    Updates for POCO X4 Pro 5G

    In 2022, the POCO X4 Pro 5G, officially announced, came with Android 11-based MIUI 13 initially, later updated to Android 13-based MIUI 14. Now, this model has commenced receiving the HyperOS update based on Android 13. The HyperOS update serves as the final major update for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G/POCO X4 Pro 5G, with future updates limited to security patches only.

    Update Details

    The update build numbers include OS1.0.2.0.UNGMIXM for the Redmi Note 13, OS1.0.1.0.UGPMIXM for the Redmi 13C/POCO X65, and OS1.0.3.0.TKCMIXM for the POCO X4 Pro 5G. While the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi 13C received the HyperOS update based on Android 14, the POCO X4 Pro 5G update is based on Android 13.

    Many users have already begun accessing the update for the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi 13. The HyperOS update for the POCO X4 Pro 5G is currently exclusive to Mi/POCO Pilots, with broader availability expected for all users in the coming weeks.

    IMDA Welcomes New Xiaomi Smart Band, Redmi Note 13 4G, & POCO M6 Pro 4G for Pre-Launch Evaluation

    Xiaomi Smart Band, Redmi Note 13 4G, & POCO M6 Pro 4G Launch May be Near

    Xiaomi is preparing to launch a number of different products from its own branding as well as some of its subsidiaries. This includes a new Xiaomi Smart Band wearable, Redmi Note 13 4G, and POCO M6 Pro 4G, which were also recently spotted getting certified. So here are all the details.

    The global release of all three products is expected to be near since these surfaced on Singapore’s IMDA certification. The Chinese tech giant’s upcoming Xiaomi Smart Band was spotted on the online database carrying the model number M2333B1. Apart from the wearable product, the brand is also working on the POCO M6 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 13 4G smartphones.

    The former carries the 2312FPCA6G model number, while the latter has a model number of 23117RA68G. These handsets are listed with support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Smart Band was certified as a low power device that features Bluetooth connectivity. Earlier today (7th November 2023), the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G model and the POCO M6 Pro 4G were certified on the FCC database.

    Last month, we even covered a report that claimed that the Redmi Note 13 4G model will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC. Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Redmi Note 13 4G later this month, while the POCO M6 Pro 4G could debut sometime next month. It is still unclear when the Xiaomi Smart Band could be announced, so stick around for more updates.
