Oppo has introduced a new smartphone powered by MediaTek Dimensity, following the earlier releases of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro with the Dimensity 9500 chip. The Reno15 Pro, along with the Reno15, is positioned in Oppo’s mid-range lineup. We have discussed the full details of the Reno15 in a separate article.

    Specifications and Performance

The Reno15 Pro utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, an octa-core chipset consisting entirely of ARM Cortex-A725 cores, organized into three groups: one main core, three performance cores, and four efficiency cores. This chipset also comes equipped with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, which is paired with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a robust 6,500 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired charging.

    Display and Design

Featuring a 6.78-inch display, the Reno15 Pro boasts a resolution of 2,772 x 1,272 pixels, reaching a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and offers a variable refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. The AMOLED screen is framed by 1.15 mm thick bezels on each side, giving it overall dimensions of 161 x 76 mm and a thickness of 7.65 mm, except for the Starlight Bow finish, which adds an additional 0.1 mm.

    Weight and Camera

With a weight of 205 g, the Reno15 Pro falls between the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Plus (currently priced at $901 on Amazon). In contrast to Samsung’s flagship models, the Reno15 Pro features impressive camera capabilities, including a 200 MP main camera (1/1.56-inch), a 50 MP ultra-wide camera (116° FoV), a 50 MP telephoto lens (85 mm/3.5x optical zoom), and a 50 MP front-facing camera (100° FoV).

The Reno15 Pro is priced starting at CNY 3,699 (~$520) for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Oppo also offers additional configurations, including a high-end model with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, priced at CNY 4,799 (~$675). There is currently no information on an international launch for the device, however.
