    In late May, GameSir shared news about the Nova 2 Lite wireless controller making its way to global markets. Now, GameSir has revealed that the Chinese version will also feature an Iron Man edition.

    The GameSir Morning Star 2 Iron Man Edition marks another entry in the line of special edition controllers inspired by the Marvel superhero. The original Nova Lite also had an Iron Man version; moreover, in August 2024, GameSir unveiled the G7 HE Iron Man Limited Edition.

    Design Features

    Like its predecessors, the GameSir Morning Star 2 Iron Man Edition sports a striking red and gold color palette. Both its faceplate and backplate are bright red, adorned with gold text and illustrations of the superhero. The thumbsticks are red, while the other buttons and triggers are gold in color.

    Despite these aesthetic updates, the controller does not differ from the standard edition in terms of functionality. It features Hall Effect joysticks, adjustable Hall Effect analog triggers, and customizable back buttons. Additionally, the GameSir Morning Star 2 boasts a 1,000Hz polling rate when connected via wired mode or the included 2.4GHz adapter. It includes a 600mAh battery, though GameSir hasn’t specified the number of gameplay hours available from a full charge.

    Availability and Pricing

    The GameSir Morning Star 2 Iron Man Edition will be up for grabs in China on Taobao starting September 1 at 10 AM. It will retail for CNY 119.9 (~$17/€14.42), which is a lower price compared to the $29.99 that the Nova 2 Lite is listed for on Amazon.

    In addition to this Iron Man Edition, GameSir is set to reveal three more special editions of the Morning Star 2. Two of these variants will be themed around the popular Chinese video game series, The Legend of Sword and Fairy (or Chinese Paladin) and Guijan 3. The third edition, currently available for purchase from JD.com, is the Shipboard Panda edition (machine translation), which is said to be inspired by the crews and pilots of Chinese aircraft carriers.
