Nothing Phone (4b) Teased as a More Affordable Mid-Range Option
The Nothing Phone (4a) which costs about $509 on some retailers will apparently soon be joined by a more budget-friendly Nothing Phone (4b). Nothing has posted several teaser videos over on the social network X, all of which primarily feature a tiny little “b.” If that isn’t too obvious enough, one of these clips even shows a basic schematic of a smartphone, followed by a 4B pencil.
Design Clues and Single Camera Setup
The teaser video gives us a strong suggestion that the Nothing Phone (4b) will rock a partially see-through back and just a solitary rear camera. This is likely a pretty clear hint that it’s an affordable mid-range smartphone which makes compromises when it comes to features to enable it to have a lower price point for the consumer. According to him, the actual number – which in this specific case is the “4” – indicates the current generation of Nothing’s phone products. The letter, on the other hand indicates the product segment within that same generation. The “a” series represents the highest-end product line that comes right after the flagship models, which interestingly do not include any letter after the number at all for identification.
