Notably, the XU40 H55 will move away from the Allwinner A733 chipset, a 12 nm processor we evaluated earlier this year in the Teclast T60 AI.

    The XU40 H55 will feature a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, which is more than twice as strong as the Allwinner A733 based on our tests. Additionally, this device will come with a 5,300 mAh battery, 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB of expandable storage, and a 60 Hz touchscreen that displays in 1080p on a 5.5-inch screen. It will also run on Android 15, a much more recent version of the operating system compared to what the XU20 V32 offers.

    Slower Alternatives

    On another note, XU Retro has stated that the XU35 H40 and XU35 H50 will utilize the slower MediaTek Helio P65 processor. This chipset is as fast as the Allwinner A133P, which will limit its capabilities to Nintendo 64 emulation and not much beyond that. While the exact specs for these models are still under wraps, the images shared so far suggest that the XU35 H45 has a narrower display compared to the XU35 H50, which appears to have a 16:9 aspect ratio. However, both handhelds will share the same control layout, as indicated by the visuals provided.
