Rui’s signature is engraved in red on the strap keeper. The negative LCD display accented in red is bordered by a brushed bezel, creating a striking contrast that extends to the red icons and Hachimura’s logo at the 12 o’clock position.

    Specifications Overview

    The strap appears to be made of matte resin, resembling that of standard 5600 models, and is secured with a classic G-Shock steel tang buckle. The overall structure adheres closely to the GM-5600 design, which is an upgraded metal version of the well-known DW-5600, yet the unique color scheme and branding provide it a distinctive flair.

    Previous Collaborations

    For reference, Rui Hachimura’s previous collaborations with G-Shock included models such as the GM-110RH and GST-B100RH, which featured bold designs and basketball-themed elements. The new GM-5600RH-1, however, takes a more sophisticated approach.

    At this time, there is no information on whether this watch will be available around the world or just limited to Japan and select areas as seen with some past Hachimura releases. Regardless, with five successful collaborations, it’s evident that Rui plays a significant role in Casio’s marketing strategy.
