The Oppo Find N5 is set to make its debut in February in China. Recent hints from the company suggest that this new model will come with major improvements compared to the earlier Find N3, which was launched in 2023. Moreover, it’s been reported that the Find N5 will have better wired fast charging features.
Oppo Find N5 3C Certification
The Oppo Find N5, with model numbers PKH110 and PKH120, has received approval from the 3C certification authority in China. The PKH110 is the base model, which was recently seen on Geekbench with a 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Meanwhile, the PKH120 variant boasts satellite connectivity. As per the 3C certification, both versions will come with the VCB80ACH charger that can handle up to 80W fast charging. This is a significant step up from the Find N3, which only supported 67W fast charging.
Enhanced Battery and Charging Features
Alongside the improved wired charging capabilities, the Find N5 will also support 50W wireless charging and is expected to include a larger 5,700mAh battery. In comparison, the Find N3 had a smaller 4,805mAh battery and lacked wireless charging altogether, making the Find N5 a considerable enhancement in battery and charging technology.
Design and Durability
Recent teasers show that the Find N5 will feature a water-resistant design with an IPX6/X8/X9 rating. Built with titanium, the N5 is said to be the thinnest foldable phone in the world, measuring approximately 4.2mm when unfolded.
