A total of 8 fresh models were revealed by Citizen Japan yesterday, among which is the Series 8 model, three Eco-Drive Exceed timepieces, and two analog-digital watches. The last two pieces are the new Attesa ACT Line watches, both set for launch on March 12 in Japan. The two references – CB3040-56H and CB3045-61L – feature compact sizes, Super Titanium build, and radio-controlled Eco-Drive movements.

    Specifications and Features

Both models are powered by Caliber H128, a solar-powered movement that features multi-band radio reception, covering Japan, China, the US, and Europe. When not receiving a signal, accuracy is rated at ±15 seconds per month. The watches are equipped with a perpetual calendar, world time (24-hour difference), direct flight adjustment, and automatic hand correction functions. The power reserve lasts around two years in power-save mode.

    Pricing Details

The CB3040-56H is priced at ¥99,000 (~$638) and comes with a silver-toned Super Titanium case that has a Duratect Titanium Carbide surface treatment. The case dimensions are 39.0 mm in diameter and 9.7 mm in thickness, weighing 93 grams. A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating shields the dial, while water resistance is rated at 10 bar. The dial features a metallic finish with a structured pattern that resembles a single sheet of metal.

    Design Variations

The CB3045-61L, which is priced at ¥126,500 (~$816), showcases a darker aesthetic. It maintains the same 39.0 mm case size and movement but is designed with a black DLC-treated Super Titanium case and bracelet. The dial transitions to a deep blue hue with contrasting applied indices, creating a more distinct visual identity while retaining the angular case shape.

Both models offer nickel allergy resistance, JIS Class 1 anti-magnetic protection, shock detection, a charge level display, overcharge prevention, and summer time functionality. The casebacks are engraved with city names for world time adjustments, and both watches are crafted in Japan.
