Infinity Nikki Gets a Massive Update with Version 2.5
Infold Games have released a new update called “Where All Souls Return” for Infinity Nikki on multiple platforms including iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5. This update is free for all players and features the games largest map expansion since Version 2.0 introduced Itzaland. It marks a significant step forward in the game’s development.
The New Boneyard Region and Its Atmosphere
The highlight of version 2.5 is the addition of the Boneyard, which is a big open-world area located in the north part of Itzaland. The theme of this new area involves reincarnation, fate, and decision making. The environment is really unique, filled with ancient dragon bones, ruins, and a moodier, more immersive tone than previous regions. The main storyline continues as Nikki tracks Lady Medael further into the region, where the Parksolians—who look like dragon-people with blue horns and scales—play a pivotal role in the story.
New Outfits and Gameplay Mechanics
Two big outfit updates come with V2.5. First, there’s the Dragonbone Master outfit, which allows Nikki to summon dragon bones to solve puzzles or even ride across the Boneyard like a surfboard. The second is a sleek 5-star Archer outfit, inspired by skeletal valkyries, offering ranged capabilities for exploration and interaction. Additional outfits include a 5-star Bug-Catching gear with floral, ethereal design and a 4-star knightly companion attire, broadening customization options for players.
Enhanced PS5 Pro Support and Features
Players on PlayStation 5 Pro benefits from improved support with this update, notably sharper images, better visual clarity, and smoother frame rates, especially when exploring large areas or during fights. Graphics such as lighting, environmental details, and long-distance rendering have been upgraded, with outfit textures looking more detailed. Plus, players can now directly save screenshots to their console galleries, making sharing moments easier. Infinity Nikki remains free to download and play on multiple devices, including iOS, Android, PC, and PS5.
Upcoming Mobile Gaming Options
If you’re into mobile games, there’s also new content to check out. Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, a free roguelite RPG from Square Enix and KLabGames, launched on iOS and Android on April 21 and offers another exciting option for gamers on the go.
