Bluetti has just released a brand-new Charger 2, designed as a combined car and solar smart energy solution. Alongside this, the company also unveiled its latest Elite series, which includes the Elite 100 V2 Bio-based Edition, the Elite 300, and the Elite 320 power stations. We have already discussed these power stations in detail, and you can find more information about them here. The Charger 2 is a direct upgrade to the Charger 1, featuring notable improvements in its output and capabilities.

    Fast Charging Capabilities

One of the key enhancements is the fast charging feature made possible by its dual-input design. To explain further, this dual-input system utilizes both the car’s alternator and solar panels at the same time, enabling an impressive total output of up to 1,200 W. Bluetti claims that this setup charges 13 times quicker than standard 12 V car outlets and nearly doubles the speed of the previous Charger 1.

    Efficient Recharging

Thanks to this, the Charger 2 can fully recharge a 1 kWh unit in less than an hour. In comparison, a regular 12 V cigarette lighter socket requires more than 10 hours to charge a basic 1 kWh battery. Similar to the Charger 1, the Charger 2 is compatible with nearly all third-party power stations. Interestingly, it shares the same wiring structure as the Charger 1, which means users can easily swap in the Charger 2 without needing to rewire, as stated by Bluetti in their press announcement.

    Port and Power Options

When it comes to connections, the DC Hub is equipped with a DIY-friendly 12 V/50 A Anderson port, a USB-A, a USB-C, and DC outputs for cigarette lighters. It provides up to 600 W of stable DC power, making it capable of powering many high-demand devices, like diesel heaters, LED lighting setups, Starlink terminals, and car fridges. Similar to Bluetti’s power stations, users can track real-time status, manage outputs, and check energy history through the Bluetti app.

    Additional Features and Pricing

The Charger 2 also comes with a plug-and-play RV-ready system, bi-directional reverse charging, and features for vehicle battery maintenance, including emergency jumpstart (800 W), trickle charging (100 W), and pulse maintenance (100 W).

The standalone Bluetti Charger 2 is priced at $499, while the bundle system is offered at $599. For a limited time as part of the launch promotion, buyers can get the Charger 2 for $349 directly from Bluetti’s official website and Amazon. However, be aware that these promotional prices are valid only until February 7.
