Amazon has given the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones their biggest discount ever after a $160 savings off the MSRP of the White model and a $180 savings for the Black model, for an out-the-door final price of $269 for either one. This deal is only available to Amazon Prime members.
Launched in 2023, the QuietComfort Ultra headphones deliver Bose Immersive Audio by leveraging CustomTune technology
At the same time, the company’s highly-rated noise cancellation system, which provides “outstanding noise isolation performance” according to Rtings, reduces external noises from intruding upon music enjoyment. The Bluetooth 5.3 headphones come with Snapdragon Sound, including aptX Lossless support for CD-quality, lossless music transmissions. They also support wired connection to audio sources with a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Battery and calling features
The Bose headphones deliver up to 24 hours of playback time while connected to up to two devices at once over wireless Bluetooth connections, according to Bose. During calls, background noise is reduced using an adaptive microphone system. The battery takes three hours to recharge using an external USB-C power source.
The QuietComfort Ultra (2nd gen) was released in 2025 and is also on sale on Amazon for $369. Versus the QC Ultra in this deal, the newer model comes with better runtimes and USB-C audio connectivity. Rtings notes the “overall noise cancelling strengths are similar”, but both are topped by the 12-mic ANC system of the Sony WH-1000XM6 (also on sale on Amazon for $378).
Sony’s alternative with AI upscaling
The Sony also comes with DSEE Extreme, which uses AI to recover lost high-frequency elements in lossy music sources. So consideration should be taken as to just how noisy expected use scenarios will be and whether one is using lossy sources or not. Nonetheless, the QC Ultra is still ranked as one of the top choices by many reviewers, and those who prefer the Bose sound profile will likely enjoy this headphone.
