    Ampler Bikes recently unveiled a fresh range of electric bikes tailored for all-terrain expeditions. These novel electric bikes by Ampler are an expansion of the conventional Ampler models, which were not initially crafted for off-road ventures.

    Ampler, an Estonian enterprise, has been making waves in the European market with its range of practical e-bikes. The latest all-terrain electric bikes, characterized by their sleek and lightweight design, exemplify Ampler’s manufacturing prowess. These models boast a minimalist aesthetic, designed as straightforward commuter bikes. Equipped with advanced connected technology and top-notch components, Ampler’s bikes feature a lightweight build, leading to streamlined batteries and components that require minimal maintenance.

    Blending modern technology with a classic bicycle design, the latest Ampler e-bike facilitates easier and quicker pedaling. Representing Ampler’s inaugural non-purely e-bike for urban mobility, the lineup includes the Ampler Curt and the Ampler Curt Anyroad, each offered in diamond and low-step frames. The Curt Anyroad variant, with its robust tires, sophisticated 10-speed drivetrain, and fork mounts, caters to both on-road and off-road excursions, including bike-packing trips.

    Versatile Options and Specifications

    The Ampler Curt Low-Step and Curt Anyroad Low-Step models are accessible in S and M frame sizes, while the rest of the lineup ranges from XS to L frame sizes. Additional choices include the Ampler Axel and Ampler Juna, featuring either single-speed Gates carbon belt drives or 9-speed/10-speed Microshift transmission setups. Weighing between 14.5kg and 17kg, these e-bikes rank among the lightest urban models available. Various color options are on offer, including fresh hues not seen in previous models.

    Pricing Details

    The Ampler Curt e-bikes start at €2,790 ($3,690), with higher-end models reaching up to €3,690 ($4,020). As of now, availability information for the new Ampler commuter and all-terrain e-bikes is limited to European markets only.

    Chinese e-scooter manufacturer NIU has announced the availability of its all-terrain electric scooter, the KQi 300P. The rugged e-scooter is now available for pre-orders in the US and the EU, with NIU offering various discounts and early bird promotions.

    Specifications and Features

    The NIU KQi 300P comes with a dual suspension system and is equipped with a 450W motor. It offers a range of 30 miles and is available in black and white color options. The e-scooter features a dual-tube hydraulic suspension and a motor with a peak power output of 900W. It has a top speed of 32km/h (20mph) and is powered by a 482Wh battery, which provides a range of approximately 48km on a single charge.

    The KQi 300P is equipped with an LED dashboard, 10.5-inch tires, LED lights, and turn signals. Currently, it can only be purchased directly from NIU, but it is expected to be available on e-commerce platforms like Amazon in the future.

    Pricing and Availability

    In the US, the NIU KQi 300P is priced at $594.30, with a 30% discount for early bird purchases. However, this discount is only available for the first 200 customers who placed their orders on or before February 1. In the EU, customers can enjoy a 20% discount, and the e-scooter is priced at €559.20 until March 20. The early bird offer in the EU has already reached the 200-customer limit.

    US customers can expect their KQi 300P to be shipped in March, while EU customers will receive their orders as early as April 2024.

    NIU has introduced two new all-terrain electric scooters, the KQi 300P and KQi 300X, which offer a travel range of up to 60km on a single charge. These scooters are equipped with dual-tube hydraulic suspension, regenerative braking, and app-based controls.

    Features of the NIU KQi 300 Series

    The KQi 300P and KQi 300X are part of the KQi 300 series, which also includes the previously released KQi3 Pro in 2022. These new models come with features that provide a more comfortable riding experience.

    The KQi 300P is powered by a 450W electric motor that can be operated using a twist throttle, offering a peak power of up to 900W. It has a top speed of approximately 32km/h and can handle inclines of around 20%. The scooter has a range of about 48km.

    On the other hand, the KQi 300X features a 500W motor with a maximum output of 1,000W and a top speed of 32km/h. It can climb hills with a gradient of 25% and has a range of about 60km. It is worth noting that the top speed of these models is limited by regulatory controls, although they have the potential to achieve higher speeds. The app allows the maximum speed of 38km/h to be activated when riding on non-public roads.

    Both models come with different battery capacities. The KQi 300P is equipped with a 486Wh battery, while the KQi 300X comes with a larger 608Wh battery. Additionally, these e-scooters feature an LED dashboard, a deck, and 10.5-inch rubber pneumatic tires that provide extra shock absorption, even on challenging terrains. They also boast a triple-braking regenerative system for enhanced safety. LED lights at the front and rear, side reflectors, and turn signals further contribute to a safer riding experience. The app allows riders to adjust the scooter's riding mode, starting speed, and charging limit. It also provides features like locking and unlocking the e-scooters, cruise control, and over-the-air upgrades when available.

    Pricing and Availability

    Starting from January 31, the NIU KQi 300P and KQi 300X e-scooters will be available for purchase. The KQi 300P is priced at $849, while the KQi 300X is priced at $1,049. In the EU, the models are priced at €699 and €799, respectively. NIU is offering a discount of up to 30% to the first 200 customers who order the scooters within the first two days of their release.
