Onyx-owned Boox recently launched a Bluetooth page-turner remote called Tappy. The device is now available to buy in China, but unlike the international version which comes in a single color, Tappy is available in China in three colors that doesn’t even include the one sold in the US.
Color options and regional availability
The international version of the Boox Tappy comes in green, but the version sold in China is available in Summer Orange, Romantic Purple, and Misty Blue. It is not known if these colors will be released later for other markets, considering Tappy is currently sold out in Europe and the US.

In addition to more colors, the Chinese product page reveals a few details Boox didn’t provide for the international version. For example, Tappy actually has a 95mAh battery capacity and a battery life of 90 days on a single charge. The device will also automatically enter into a low-power mode when not used so as to conserve battery. To wake it, simply press any of the buttons.
