JBL has revealed eight new Tune headphone models for 2026 at CES, which include the 780NC, 680NC, 730BT, 530BT, 530 Wired, 530C – USB-C, 235BT, and 135BT. These can be categorized into four groups.

    High-End Headphones

The 780NC and 680NC are the premium models in the line-up, featuring active noise-cancellation. They’re positioned at the higher end of the pricing spectrum. The 780NC is equipped with 40 mm drivers, whereas the 680NC has 32 mm drivers. Both models offer an impressive runtime of up to 76 hours on a single charge. They support Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint connections, and LE Audio, utilizing the more efficient LC3 codec instead of the standard SBC. Additionally, both headphones come with two beamforming microphones that help minimize background noise during phone calls.

    Mid-Range Options

For the mid-tier options, the 730BT is outfitted with 40 mm drivers, while the 530BT features 33 mm drivers. The 730BT supports Bluetooth 6.0 and LE Audio with the LC3 codec, while the 530BT is limited to the standard SBC Bluetooth codec.

    Wired Connections

There are also two models aimed at those who prefer wired connections. The 530 Wired model replaces the wireless feature of the 530BT with a wired cable, allowing it to support Hi-Res Audio. The 530C – USB-C model uses smaller 12.5 mm drivers and adds IPX4-rated water resistance, along with an in-line three-button control that has a mic, and comes with a USB-C cable.

    Budget-Friendly Choices

Finally, the entry-level models have the least features. The 235BT has 12.5 mm drivers and offers IPX4-rated water resistance. In contrast, the 135BT is equipped with 8.6 mm drivers. Both models can achieve up to 25 hours of runtime on a single charge.

The pricing for both wired and wireless models ranges from $34.95 to $149.95. The entry-level 135BT and 235BT will launch in January 2026, while the other models will be released in June 2026. The 730BT was previously introduced last November in Japan and is already available there. Customers can find these new models at the JBL store on Amazon US.
