New OnePlus Pad 3 Pro Launched with Big Screen and Power

OnePlus has just launched its long-rumored Pad 3 Pro in China. As expected, the new tablet aligns with earlier rumors we covered, serving as a much larger, more powerful variant of the regular Pad 3. Though past leaks showed off a titanium color option, the device is actually launching in Dark Brown and Light Green hues.

    Display and Audio Features

The tablet packs a massive 13.2-inch LCD screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio and 3,392×2,400 resolution, which refreshes at 144Hz while having a 540Hz touch sampling rate. According to OnePlus’ numbers, the screen can reach a peak brightness of 1,000 nits while supporting Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid content.

Combined with this, there are no fewer than eight speakers packed inside, and OnePlus will also offer an optional stylus that adds basic AI text recognition to turn your chicken scratches into tables or mind maps. A standard keyboard cover is also available for purchase.

    Processor, Battery, and Charging

On the processor side, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro makes use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a fairly big upgrade from the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 used in the Chinese vanilla Pad 3. In terms of battery capacity, the device comes with a sizable 13,380mAh battery (another major upgrade from the 9,520mAh cell found in the base model) and supports 67W wired charging.

    Pricing and Availability Details

For now, the Pad 3 Pro is limited to the Chinese market through the Oppo online store. Starting prices are CNY 4,400 (about $650/€570) for a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. There’s also a 12GB RAM and 512GB version for CNY 4,900 ($725/€635), and if you really want more than that, there’s an even bigger 16GB RAM and 512GB version for CNY 5,400 ($800/€700). As far as we can tell, OnePlus hasn’t announced a global release date yet.
