Rad Power Bikes Unveils Radster Trail E-Bike: All-Terrain Capabilities

US-based e-bike manufacturer Rad Power has recently introduced the Radster Trail e-bike, showcasing impressive off-road capabilities. This new model, crafted by Rad Power Bikes, boasts a robust 750W electric motor and incorporates the brand's cutting-edge fire-resistant battery technology.

Key Features

The Radster Trail e-bike features sturdy 3-inch fat tires sourced from Kenda, coupled with an SR Suntour hydraulic suspension fork providing 80mm of travel. Notably, Rad Power Bikes ceased its operations in Europe last year, indicating limited availability for this e-bike in that region. With a 750W motor generating up to 100Nm of torque, riders can reach speeds of up to 45km/h. The bike offers 8 speed levels and is equipped with a 720Wh Safe Shield Battery, delivering a range of approximately 105km (65 miles). This innovative battery technology serves to enhance safety by mitigating risks associated with battery overheating.

Enhanced Features and Security

The Radster Trail showcases an upgraded full-color display for monitoring speed, adjusting assistance modes, and even charging mobile devices. Additionally, a USB-C port on the handlebar-mounted display provides convenient functionality and can be secured via a code or a fob for added protection. This e-bike also includes a Shimano derailleur, a 200-lumen LED light, and reliable Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Moreover, users can take advantage of the front and rear racks, supporting loads of up to 165kg for transporting cargo.

Pricing & Availability

Weighing approximately 35kg and constructed with an aluminum frame, the Radster Trail is offered in two sizes – Regular and Large, along with two color options – Fir Green and Copper Red. Interested buyers can pre-order the Radster Trail in the US at a price point of $1,999. While most shipments are scheduled for completion by the end of March 2023, the Regular Fir Green variant will be available from April 10, 2023.
