New E-Bike with Modern Parts and Strong Suspension for Tough Trails

Cyclists who are searching for an e-bike suitable for their daily trip to work might not find the Uproc Evo:X New fitting unless their path involves tough terrains and possibly some jumps. The Uproc Evo:X New is promoted by the manufacturer as a true E-Enduro bike, featuring a powerful Bosch mid-motor. This bike is equipped with the latest Bosch Performance Line CX motor that delivers 85 Nm of torque. It also boasts an 800 Wh PowerTube battery that is seamlessly integrated into the frame. If more range is needed, the Bosch PowerMore 250 range extender can be added. For control, it has a Smart System module, but unlike many e-mountain bikes, it does not come with a large Kiox display; instead, it has a basic system controller and a mini remote.

Model Variants and Components

There are two versions of this bike: the Uproc Evo:X New 4.10 and the Uproc Evo:X New 8.50. The differences between these models lie in the components such as the fork, shock absorber, and braking system. The more affordable 4.10 variant is fitted with the RockShox Domain R suspension fork, which offers 170 millimeters of travel, while the 8.50 version is equipped with the Fox 38 Float Performance fork with 180 millimeters of travel. The shock absorber can either be from SR Suntour or Fox. Both models come with hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano, featuring 4 brake pistons and disc sizes of 220 mm and 203 mm, although the specific models of brakes used might vary. Both versions are mullet E-bikes, which means the front wheel measures 29 inches, and the rear wheel is 27.5 inches. They are also fitted with a Shimano Deore or SRAM GX Eagle derailleur system, both offering 12 gears.

Availability and Pricing Information

The bike is reportedly weighs around 53 lb (24 kg). It is expected to be available starting January 2025, with a suggested retail price of $8,799 for the 4.10 model.
