Microsoft to Release Multiple Games on Switch 2, Says Leaker

The Switch 2 is expected to be released in March 2025, and discussions about Nintendo’s upcoming console are picking up steam. Following the significant leak in December 2024 that revealed the initial render images and specifications, more rumors are popping up about the next version of the Nintendo Switch, which is currently priced at $295 on Amazon. One interesting rumor suggests that the console could launch with Final Fantasy 9 instead of the anticipated Mario Kart 9. Recently, footage has emerged showing the Switch 2, along with its dock and Joy-Con controllers. Gaming insider Nate the Hate has also provided some captivating information regarding possible game launches for this new system.

Insights on Potential Game Releases

In a recent 90-minute podcast that discussed various topics, including new Xbox hardware and upcoming releases in 2025, Nate the Hate offered valuable insights into games that Microsoft may bring to the Switch 2. Highlighted in his talk were the Halo: Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator, both of which aren’t available on the current Nintendo Switch. Thanks to the upgraded Tegra T239 GPU, this new console should be able to handle these games without issues.

More Games on the Horizon

Nate the Hate also mentioned that Microsoft could potentially port other titles to the Switch 2, such as Hi-Fi Rush, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. It’s important to note, however, that the credibility of the sources backing his statements is still unclear. Although Nate the Hate has a track record of sharing accurate rumors, there’s no assurance that any of these games will actually make it to Nintendo’s forthcoming console.
