Mechrevo has introduced an updated version of its Yilong 15 Pro gaming laptop. Initially released earlier this year with an RTX 4060 graphics card, the new version now boasts a superior GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, a larger 99Wh battery, and an IR face recognition camera. The updated laptop is available for pre-sale on Tmall, priced starting at 8499 Yuan (approximately $1,169).
Mechrevo Yilong 15 Pro Specifications
The latest Yilong 15 Pro model features a 15.3-inch 16:10 aspect ratio wide-angle LCD display with a 2560×1600 QHD resolution. It offers a 91.8% screen-to-body ratio, 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, and a high refresh rate of 240Hz. The screen is claimed to have a typical brightness of 500 nits.
Under the hood, the Mechrevo Yilong 15 Pro is equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 7 8845H processor and the RTX 4070 GPU, which supports up to 140W power. The GPU uses Ada Lovelace architecture, ideal for gaming and creative tasks, and supports features like DLSS 3 for better frame rates and visual quality.
Advanced Cooling System
For effective cooling, the Yilong 15 Pro is outfitted with an enhanced cooling system. This includes 5 pure copper heat pipes, four pure copper fins, dual fans with four air outlets, and improved thermal grease. This setup ensures efficient cooling while maintaining noise levels at a manageable 46dB, allowing the laptop to perform optimally without becoming overly noisy, even under heavy load.
The Yilong 15 Pro comes standard with 32GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory clocked at 5600MHz and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid-state drive. The laptop retains the one-key flip screen function, and the webcam above the screen supports both physical and software-based shut-off methods. The newly added IR face recognition camera supports Windows Hello for quick, password-free system logins.
Enhanced Connectivity and Battery Life
For connectivity, the laptop supports 100W PD charging and includes a redesigned slim mobile adapter for better portability. It also offers a full array of ports, including HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2, and a Type-C charging port among others. Battery life has seen a significant upgrade, with a 99Wh battery providing up to 18 hours of usage.
