Hisense has outpaced Konka in launching a high-end, pricey 110-inch 8K miniLED television. However, Konka claims that its forthcoming model will have a significant edge once it hits the shelves.
Specs and Features
The Hisense 110A8 is said to be revolutionary in its segment since it boasts an impressive 230,000 "backlight zones." In contrast, the Konka 110UX is reported to have around 40,000 dimming zones, which puts it at a disadvantage in the eyes of Hisense fans.
This difference leads Konka to believe that their TV will excel in showcasing light and shadow on its expansive miniLED display. The vast number of zones in the Konka model will be managed by a chipset that utilizes "advanced AI models," aimed at enhancing its potential picture quality.
Audio and Debut
Additionally, the Hisense model promises to provide an "immersive 360° surround sound" experience, thanks to an integrated audio system delivering a powerful 94 watts (W) from JBL, along with a HiFi Ultra SoundBar included.
The groundbreaking TV made its first appearance at the significant 136th Canton Fair trade show, alongside Konka's upcoming 144Hz OLED option and its slightly smaller 809 100-inch miniLED television.
