OXS has broadened its range of wireless gaming headphones with the introduction of the new Storm G2 White Edition over-the-ear model. These latest headsets feature a 50 mm full-range dynamic driver, providing a frequency response ranging from 20 to 20,000 Hz. Additionally, they are equipped with cutting-edge 7.1 virtual surround sound technology, which OXS asserts provides an excellent audio experience for both gamers and audiophiles alike.
Superior Noise Cancellation
The Storm G2 is designed with passive noise cancellation technology and includes two ENC-enabled microphones—one built-in and one detachable. These microphones are made to minimize wind noise, enhancing call quality during mobility. Regarding comfort, the wireless headphones feature an adjustable headband (with a 2-inch (~50 mm) expansion) and 30° adjustable earcups, lined with memory foam and skin-friendly protein leather, ensuring comfort during prolonged use.
Specifications and Battery Life
In terms of size, the headphones have dimensions of 185 x 98 x 205 mm (7.3 x 3.9 x 8.1 inches) and weigh 250 grams (0.55 lbs). The Storm G2 is powered by a 1,000 mAh battery, which is rated to provide up to 40 hours of usage when noise cancellation and RGB lights are turned off, or 24 hours with the lights on, and it takes 4 hours for a full recharge. However, it lacks fast charging capabilities.
Connectivity Options
Additionally, the company hasn’t disclosed any details regarding codec support. What is known is that the headphones offer three different connection options: Bluetooth, wired, and a 2-in-1 dongle that supports both Type-A and Type-C connections. They are compatible with a wide range of devices, including PCs, laptops, PS4/PS5, Xbox, Switch, mobile devices, tablets, and other audiovisual equipment.
The OXS Storm G2 White Edition wireless gaming headset is currently available on OXS’ official website and on Amazon US/UK for $79.99/£79.99. For more information, visit the official product page for the Storm G2.
