TCL has introduced a new smart door lock called the K7G Plus Bronze Brown in China. This innovative lock offers several unlocking methods, including facial recognition technology. TCL claims that their 3D structured light technology enables the lock to identify your face in less than a second.
Multiple Unlocking Options
In addition to facial recognition, the TCL K7G Plus offers a variety of other unlocking options, such as a fingerprint scanner, password input, NFC, Bluetooth, and a traditional key. It also comes equipped with a built-in camera that lets you see who is at your door, displaying images on the 4.5-inch IPS screen within the unit. Additional features include infrared night vision, automatic locking, and a child lock function. The smart lock is powered by a 4,200mAh battery, which TCL states can last up to six months on a single charge.
Pricing and Availability
The TCL K7G Plus smart door lock is currently available for purchase in China at a price of CNY 1,699 (approximately $232). At this time, it remains uncertain if or when this product will be available in other regions, such as the US, where models like the TCL D1 Pro Palm Vein Smart Lock are already on sale for $149.99 on Amazon.
