    Samsung is getting ready to launch the Galaxy A26 5G. The support pages for this device have recently appeared in various regions, including the UK, Ireland, and parts of Latin America. This comes after the phone has been spotted on multiple certification sites like BIS, TUV Rheinland, and Bluetooth SIG.

    Launch Timing

    Even though the support pages don’t give detailed information about the device, they hint that the Galaxy A26 5G might be released soon. It could be unveiled alongside the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 in March. Just for context, the Galaxy A25 5G was introduced in December 2023.

    Model Confirmation

    The support pages found on Samsung’s regional websites don’t directly name the Galaxy A26 5G. They do, however, list the model number SM-A26B/DS, which has been previously associated with the A26 in Bluetooth SIG listings. This confirms that we are indeed looking at the Galaxy A26 5G.

    Expected Features

    As per past leaks and rumors, the Galaxy A26 5G is likely to come with a display size of either 6.64 inches or 6.7 inches, featuring a waterdrop notch design. The screen is expected to support FHD+ resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate.

    Inside the phone, it might be driven by an overclocked version of the Exynos 1280 chipset, but there are also whispers it could utilize the Exynos 2400e SoC instead.

    Chipset Insights

    For those who don’t know, the Exynos 2400e is a slightly lower-powered variant of the flagship Exynos 2400, which is found in the Galaxy S24 FE. This makes it less likely that Samsung would use this chip for a device expected to have a water-drop notch in 2025. It could come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

    Battery and Software

    Here’s a twist: according to an earlier report, the battery might actually be smaller than its predecessor, going down to 4,565mAh from 5,000mAh.

    On the software side, the Galaxy A26 5G will probably run on Android 15 with One UI 7, similar to the recently released Galaxy S25 series. However, don’t look forward to seeing the AI features in this Android 15-based interface.
