Historically, Samsung has equipped its flagship Galaxy S series with in-house Exynos processors in many markets. This year, approximately 60% of the Galaxy S24 series devices were powered by the Exynos 2400 chip.

    Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Takes the Lead

    It appears that the Exynos 2500 chip might not be released due to Samsung’s disappointingly low 3nm yield. Kuo notes that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will see a price hike of 25-30%, which is expected to significantly benefit Qualcomm due to increased orders from Samsung.

    Reports suggest that Samsung’s second-generation 3nm chips are experiencing low yield rates, estimated at around 20%.
