The Fossibot F112 Pro rugged smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, along with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 1 TB using a microSD card. This mid-range rugged device meets MIL-STD-810H standards and is also IP68 and IP69K certified. Fossibot claims it can endure drops from heights of up to 1.5 m (around 4.9 ft) and can survive underwater for about 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 m (approximately 4.9 ft).
The smartphone supports 5G and features a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 480 nits. For photography enthusiasts, it has a dual rear camera system with a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a 16 MP camera for selfies and video calls. The device runs on Android 14 straight out of the box, but there’s no information regarding future software updates from the company, suggesting that users might not get any.
Battery and Design
Moreover, the F112 Pro is equipped with a hefty 7,150 mAh battery supporting 18 W wired charging. Additional specifications include a back design made from liquid silicon gel, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dedicated custom button, and support for up to 16 GB of RAM expansion, along with NFC functionality. Despite its rugged build and large battery, the smartphone measures 181.8 x 83.5 x 13.3 mm (7.16 x 3.28 x 0.52 inches) and weighs in at 660 grams (1.45 lbs).
In addition to the F112 Pro, Fossibot also unveiled the F107 Pro, its flagship rugged smartphone. This device boasts an enormous 28,000 mAh battery, a starlight night vision camera, and a powerful lumen flashlight. However, not much else is known about the smartphone at this time. We do know that the F107 Pro is expected to be available in stores by May 2025.
Pricing and Availability
The Fossibot F112 Pro comes in five color variations: blue, black, green, orange, and rose red, with a starting price of $399.99. As part of a promotional launch, the smartphone is being offered at just $159.99. It’s important to note that this offer is valid until March 27; after that, the price will revert to its original retail amount. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting March 17 on Fossibot’s official website and through other authorized retailers.
