Anker is set to unveil the Everfrost Cooler 2 at CES 2025, a product made for outdoor adventures and designed as an upgrade to the much-loved first model that hit the market in 2023.
Cool Features and Sizes
The EverFrost Cooler 2 portable fridge comes in three different sizes: 23L, 40L, and 58L. It provides both cooling and freezing capabilities, allowing users to select temperatures ranging from -20 to 20°C (-4 to 68°F). Anker claims that its FrostFlow 360° air circulation system enables quick cooling, and the large 58L version includes two separate compartments, making it possible to freeze and cool items at the same time. These coolers are powered by two 288Wh batteries, which reportedly keep food and drinks fresh for more than four days, or up to 104 hours. This is nearly double the battery capacity of the older 33L model, which could only last for 42 hours.
Charging and Portability
The updated model can be charged in several ways: through AC, USB-C, car socket, or even a 100W solar input. Additionally, the batteries can act as a power bank, providing 60W USB-C and 12W USB-A ports. Users can modify the settings of the Everfrost or monitor them remotely using the Anker app. Additional features include wheels and a handle for easy transport, a fold-down tray, and a water resistance rating of IPX3.
Availability and Pricing
The pricing details are not yet disclosed, but the 40L and 58L versions of the Anker Everfrost Cooler 2 will be open for pre-order in the US starting February 21 on Anker.com. Sales for these models will officially commence on March 7, while the smaller 23L version is expected to be available in the second quarter of the year. It remains unclear when or what prices these products will have in other regions, like Europe.
