Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S25 Slim this year. This flagship model will be released apart from the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, serving as a competitor to the iPhone 17 Air. Recently, a leak has shed some light on when we might expect its launch.
Possible Launch Timeline
According to information from leaker Setsuna Digital on Weibo, the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be ready for a May release. The main Galaxy S25 series will make its appearance next week, and it looks like the Slim version could follow approximately four months later. Earlier reports suggested that the S25 Slim could debut later in the year, possibly in conjunction with the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 during Samsung’s second Unpacked event for the year, which is anticipated in July or August.
Development Status
The idea of a May launch seems plausible, especially since the Galaxy S25 Slim has recently been spotted on Geekbench. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 have not yet shown up on any benchmarks, indicating that the development of the S25 Slim is progressing quicker than that of Samsung’s foldable devices for this year.
Pricing and Positioning
Reports indicate that the S25 Slim will fit in between the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Ultra in terms of positioning and pricing. If the rumor about the May launch holds true, we can expect more specific information about the phone to emerge soon. We will keep you posted for sure.
