Vivo X200 and X200 Pro Get New Certifications Ahead of Launch

Just a week ago, Vivo introduced its new X200 series of flagship smartphones in China. These devices are equipped with advanced technology and numerous AI-enhanced features. Now, the X200 and X200 Pro have appeared in new certification listings, suggesting that their international release could be imminent.

    Vivo X200 Pro Certification Details

The Vivo X200 Pro has been listed on Taiwan’s NCC certification under the model number V2413 (Source: 91Mobiles). This listing includes information about its accessories as well. Meanwhile, the standard Vivo X200 was found on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification. Sadly, these certifications do not provide any significant information such as launch dates, pricing, or other important features. However, they do imply that a global launch for the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro could be just around the corner.

    Future Launches and Features

Recently, we compiled a list of upcoming flagship smartphones launching in India, with the X200 series anticipated to debut in December 2024. It’s worth noting that the lineup also features the X200 Pro Mini, which is a compact high-end device. Nevertheless, there is no official confirmation about this model making its way to global markets. All three versions are powered by MediaTek’s high-end Dimensity 9400 SoC.

This series boasts large batteries and 90W wired fast charging capabilities. They come pre-installed with Android 15 OS and the OriginOS 5 custom interface. The front displays are AMOLED with LTPO support, high refresh rates, and vibrant visuals. On the back, there’s a triple camera system featuring Zeiss optics and Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip. Remember that this is merely a certification update and no official announcement about a global launch date has been made yet. Stay tuned for more updates as we will share further information as it becomes available.

  • Xiaomi 15 Pro Launch: New 120mm Periscope Camera Revealed

Xiaomi 15 Pro Launch: New 120mm Periscope Camera Revealed

The Xiaomi 15 is not the only high-end phone that Xiaomi has shown off today. True to their pattern, Xiaomi plans to launch a bigger Pro version during the same event. Just to note, the anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra is likely not going to be officially announced until the first quarter of 2025.

    Size and Weight

The Xiaomi 15 Pro will be bigger than the Xiaomi 15, but it will still have a smaller size compared to the current Xiaomi 14 Pro. Xiaomi claims that this new Pro model will weigh just 213 g, which makes it lighter than other flagship phones like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra (currently listed at $1,092.23 on Amazon) by about 16 to 20 grams.

    Design Features

Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 Pro is reported to be 8.35 mm thick, not counting its camera housing, which means it’s just a tad thicker than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Similar to the smaller Xiaomi 15, the 15 Pro features slim bezels, a matte finish on its side frame, three rear cameras, and a LED flash placed next to its large camera module.

In an odd twist, the lower right camera opening appears empty, though there might be some extra functionality that we don’t know about yet. Moreover, the markings on the camera module indicate that Xiaomi has added a 120 mm periscope telephoto lens, which is an upgrade from the 75 mm version found in the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The device will also retain a 14 mm ultra-wide camera, and on October 29, it is expected to introduce what seems to be an f/1.44 aperture main camera.
