Vivo Y18i Launches: Unisoc T612, 5000mAh Battery at Rs 7,999
Vivo has recently introduced the vivo Y18 and Y18e models in India. Now, the company has quietly expanded its lineup with the addition of the vivo Y18i. This entry-level smartphone features an HD+ LCD display and is powered by a Unisoc T612 chipset. It comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a substantial 5000mAh battery.

The device also includes extended RAM, utilizing 4GB of unused ROM space as additional system memory. The display achieves a peak brightness of 528 units.
The vivo Y18i is available in two colors: Gem Green and Space Black. The design features flat sides and rounded corners. The camera system incorporates Vivo’s “Suter Night Algorithms” to enhance photo brightness and vibrancy in low-light conditions. Affordable itel A80 with Unisoc Tiger T603 Gets Google Play Certified
itel’s upcoming affordable smartphone has surfaced on the Google Play Console! Phones in itel’s ‘A lineup’ typically feature budget-friendly entry-level devices. The upcoming itel A80 has emerged with the model number A671LC.
Google Play listing confirms that this device is an entry-level phone as the upcoming itel A80 will feature Unisoc Tiger T603 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The screen resolution is 720 x 1600, likely equivalent to HD+.

Despite being an entry-level phone, it will come with the latest version of Android out of the box. Google Play certification confirms that the phone will ship with Android 14 preinstalled. Previously, itel introduced the itel A70, which appears to share similar specs with the A80.
Similarities with itel A70
The itel A70, launched in 2023, also features the same Unisoc T603 chipset as the upcoming A80. The phone is 8.6mm thick, houses a 5000 mAh battery, and supports 10W wired charging. We can expect the A80 to debut at a similar price point to the current Amazon India price of the A70 at 6499 INR.

vivo Y28s 5G is set to hit the markets very soon. vivo will soon add another model to its entry-level device category. We have spotted that vivo is working on a model named vivo Y28s 5G, and this phone has been certified by CQC as well.
The successor of vivo Y28 is underway: vivo Y28s 5G
vivo Y28s 5G appeared in our database with the model number “V2346.” While full specifications remain as a mystery, the phone’s CQC certification confirms support for 15W charging. This matches the charging speed of its predecessor, the vivo Y28. It seems that vivo is not likely to offer more with new model compared to the already introduced vivo Y28. vivo Y28 falls within the brand’s Y series known for offering entry-level specs. The phone is priced at around ₹13,999 (approximately USD $167) in India.
vivo Y28s 5G
vivo Y28s 5G was detected on the website of the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). While the product name is not mentioned in the certification, we spotted the V2346 model number as vivo Y28s 5G in our database. We expect vivo Y28s 5G to debut in China first as the phone made its initial appearance in the CQC’s website first. However, its availability in other regions remains unclear. Actually it’s very early to talk about the phone’s availability.
Similar Features with Minor Upgrades
As we previously indicated, we don’t expect the vivo Y28s 5G to bring significant improvements compared to the vivo Y28. Both of the phones have exact same charging speed.
