    Questyle M18i Bluetooth USB DAC Headphone Amp Launched

    Questyle has introduced the M18i, a compact Bluetooth USB-DAC that comes with a headphone amplifier and a built-in battery. This new device features both 4.4 mm balanced and 3.5 mm single-ended headphone connections. It works seamlessly with various systems, including Android, Apple, HarmonyOS, MacOS, Windows, along with gaming devices. The Questyle M18i has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $399 and is currently available for purchase on Amazon.

    Connection Options

    The M18i is equipped with two USB-C ports, allowing users to stream high-resolution music while charging their device at the same time. It also supports wireless streaming through Bluetooth 5.4, utilizing audio codecs like Hi-Res LDAC, aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, LE Audio, SBC, or AAC. Additionally, there’s an AI-driven microphone that facilitates HD calls while reducing background noise.

    User-Friendly Controls

    A multi-function control button simplifies the process of playing, pausing, and skipping tracks for the user. There’s a mode switch that allows quick toggling between PC, phone, and Bluetooth connections. Moreover, a High/Low gain button is present to ensure better compatibility with different headphone impedances. The device’s current DAC status can be easily viewed on a laminated OLED screen.

    Advanced Audio Technology

    Inside the M18i, you will find dual ESS ES9219Q chips responsible for decoding audio streams. This includes support for PCM 384 kHz and DSD256 audio streams, all while maintaining an incredibly low distortion rate of just 0.00002%. However, additional details regarding the signal-to-noise ratio, total harmonic distortion, and other specifications have not been disclosed yet.
