AYANEO 2S and KUN Handhelds Get AMD Ryzen 7 , Pre-sale May 24

AYANEO has announced a performance enhancement for the AYANEO 2S and AYANEO KUN handheld consoles with the introduction of the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor. This announcement follows the recent unveiling of the AYANEO AIR 1S.

New Processor Details

This upgraded processor, named “Hawk Point,” will replace the current “Phoenix” (Ryzen 7 7840U) chip in the AYANEO AIR 1S/2S/KUN consoles. Although maintaining the 8-core Zen 4 CPU and 12CU RDNA 3 graphics core, the new processor significantly boosts NPU performance by 60%, reaching 16 TOPS.

Color Options and Special Editions

The enhanced AYANEO AIR 1S will come in three color variants: the classic Aurora White, Ultra Night Black, and a special AYANEO AIR 1S x Hundred Heroes limited edition, created in collaboration with 505 Games. Specific details about the upgraded AYANEO 2S and KUN consoles have not yet been disclosed by AYANEO.
