Recently, a new Oppo smartphone with the model number PKH120 was identified on China’s radio certification platform. This model supports satellite connectivity, while there is a PKH110 version that does not. The PKH120 / PKH110 has also appeared in the UFSC charging database, which has disclosed the battery capacity of the device. Initially, it was believed that this phone would be the Find X8 Ultra, but it now seems likely that it may be either the Find N5 or the Find X8 Mini.
Battery Capacity Uncovered
The Oppo PKH110 / PKH120 comes with a battery rated at 5,475mAh, as shown in the screenshot above. Popular leaker Digital Chat Station mentions that the typical rating for this battery is 5,600mAh. While the exact model name has not been revealed, he asserts that it belongs to the upcoming Find series, excluding the Find X8 Ultra, which is anticipated to have a 6,000mAh battery.
Expectations for the Find N5
Given that the Find N3 had a 4,805mAh battery, its successor is expected to feature a larger power source. DCS has previously suggested that the Find N5 will come with a dual-cell battery of 2,460+3,105mAh, yielding a total capacity of 5,565mAh (rated) and 5,700mAh (typical). In contrast, a 5,600mAh battery seems more fitting for a smaller phone. For example, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which has a 6.31-inch screen and runs on Dimensity 9400, includes a 5,700mAh battery.
Reports indicate that the Find N5 is set to launch ahead of the X8 Ultra and X8 Mini. The N5 is expected to be unveiled in February 2025 in China, while the Ultra and Mini are anticipated to be released in the first quarter of 2025.
